This little Plinius is also known as a "Plint", it's written inside on the circuit board only. Despite it's size this is still a very good sounding amplifier, or should be, if yours isn't then something is wrong. Typically, in the pre-amplifier, two particular electrolytic capacitors fail often spilling electrolyte on to the circuit board making them easy to spot. Repairing is another matter, the board is difficult to remove, but it is worth getting repaired. This amplifier has a neutral to slightly warm sound very detailed and balanced; I love listening to it and it has plenty of volume for moderate listening levels. Build quality is really good; attention to detail and very high quality components make this generally very reliable. I love listening to mine and it's one amp I will definitely keep. There seems to be one or two iterations of the model. One power amplifier has speaker posts under/over and input connectors on the same side while the other has speaker posts all in a row and input connectors far apart, one left hand side one right hand side.
